This is a truly honest to goodness stereo amplifier. Made in Japan quality with a good sound to boot. It will drive two pairs of speakers or you can use it to biamp your speakers. Power output is a thundering 135W per channel in 8 ohms. Twin variable output in the front allows you to adjust the volume level of the speaker output but we still prefer the use of a preamp. The Yamaha has a very clean and neutral sound. Very slight coloration but generally it remained neutral and detailed. Cosmetically, the unit looks very good.
